Tumblekit Snuck out

Tumblekit bumbles out of camp, making sure no one sees. Few of the the Rogue Pack cats cared about kits anyway. He made it out and wandered through the territory, having a fun time chasing leaves and butterflies.He didn't even notice when he tumbled down a hill that he was out of Rogue Pack territory.

RoseKit slips through a small hole in the camp wall and takes a deep breath once into the forest. She starts to pad through the brush until she hears something fall. Not knowing what it was she hid herself in the undergrowth.

TumbleKit chased a butterfly for a few seconds, then got bored and pounced on a bush. He had thought sneaking out would be funner but it wasn't when he was alone.

Rosekit squealed as she got attacked, "Get away from me!"

TumbleKit jumped back, surprised to see the kit. "Oh.. I'm sorry... I didn't know there was... Uhm... Erm..." He spluttered.

"Oh you're a kit too." She shakes a few leaves out of her fur." I'm Rose kit!"

"Nice to meet you. I'm TumbleKit. Future warrior of Rogue Pack!" He announced proudly. He still had two moons before his apprentice ceremony but he was already excited.

"LunaClan for me." She wondered what he would think of her now.

"Oh," he said. He sighed, he'd guessed she wouldn't be from Rogue Pack, he'd have remembered her. But she wasn't even from a pack. He knew he should leave, that he shouldn't be talking to a clan kit. "I guess we're supposed to be enemies..."

"I don't think enemies are just formed by what group they are part of. It's what is in the cat's heart that may or may not make them enemies." She smiles and her tail twitches happily.

TumbleKit stares at her, feeling confused. "I don't understand half of what you said but I think your trying to say we can be friends,"  he responded. "Well it's fine with me."

"Wanna play? Everyone in my camp is asleep so we should be fine." Her eyes sparkle in excitement

"Sure," TumbleKit answers. He looks around for something to toss around.

"Let's go swimming! If you don't know how too I will teach you!"

"Swimming? Like get wet? In water? Ick!" he protests. He's never swam before, though he's never been out of camp before. He shudders, he's heard stories of cats drowning.

He purrs. "In two moons I'll learn to hunt and fight. I'm gonna be the best fighter in Rogue pack, but I bet you will be the best hunter in Luna Clan!" he says. His bounces slightly with happiness, looking at her. "So you gonna teach me to swim or not?"

"Lets go!" She races the fastest her little legs will go till she finds the small stream. "The warriors swim in larger area but we are too small to go there."

He follows her eagerly, wanting to impress her. He nods as she speaks, looking at the water and feeling a little scared. However, he is determined to not show his fear so he goes near the water. He hits a slippery patch on the rocks and slips and falls.

RoseKit squeaks and rushes into the water and she notices the water level was low, "You can stand up you know. The water level is down right now." but she couldn't help laughing at what happened.

Tumblekit gets back onto his feet feeling hurt by her laughter. "Everybody who knows me says I'm clumsy," he mumbles. He hates it when he stumbles or falls, which is often. He knows with all his mistakes he probably won't make a great hunter.

She takes a step towards him and falls getting water all over her and as she gets up she laughs even harder, "Same here that's what makes it so funny. I have been in your situation more often than not." She shoots him a wicked grin then tries to hold back her laughter.

He giggles and walks carefully over to her. "So this is swimming?" he asks.

"Not at all it's so graceful or at least it makes you feel graceful. Your paws push the water making you go forward and your tail steers you. I love it." Her eyes shimmer at thinking about it.

He tilts his head a little, wishing the water was deeper so he can try it. The way she talks about it makes him think its fun. "Wow," he murmurs.
